Today I spent the entire day working on U23 outstanding work and am very close to submitting A3T1 for it. I only need to link the hyperlinks on the last page to the desired weblinks. To do this I have to change the code because it does not let you change it in the Pencil software. After this, the next piece of work that I have to do is resubmissions for Unit 41 which is due on the 7th of this month.

This morning I dedicate my entire time into finishing my assignments that are due soon. I have managed to complete lots of progress on A1T2 for unit 24 and am up to the point that I know I will be able to hand it in on time. A weakness is that I have still not completed A1,2 and 3 for unit 14 and they are due very soon.

This afternoon we had a tutor hour on radicalisation and what/what not to trust. My peer, Jordan, helped me understand how to calculate Binary, Denary and Hexadecimal which will very much help me when preforming calculations for my U24 assignment. We also played a couple of Kahoot quizzes which I found okay. My SMART target was to "To complete as much conductive research over the period of next week so that I am confident in writing up my assignment."
My next pieces of work are resubmissions for Unit 41 which are due on the 7th of February.

Today we looked at how companies use data and what the most important functionalities of them are. A strength of today was that I updated my workload list so I am more organised to work in the near future.
The next piece of work that I have due is on the 2nd of February which is for Unit 24.

To write a paragraph recommending yourself to an employer, applying your knowledge of implicit reading skills.
Set yourself a new SMART target on your PDP.
This afternoon we had a tutorial hour which covered the key aspects for applying for jobs. I learnt that it is important to read between the lines in a job description to identify what type of person the employer is really looking for. We also practiced using types of logic gates which I found very difficult at the start but got the hang of how they work after practicing with different examples.
My next assignment is due on the 2nd of February which is one week away today.

This morning we watched a video and I was interested of how Tesla cars were made and I noted down what type of control systems are used in the machines. We also started the new assignment in which we have to thoroughly compare analogue to digital signals. A weakness of today is that I was struggling to calculate binary and hexadecimal equations.

This afternoon we had a talk from the head of center about advice for jobs and apprenticeships which has given me some good advice on what to apply for in the near future. I set myself a SMART target to apply for as many part-time jobs as possible over the weekend and to make sure that my CV is up to date. An example of a user event driven program is opening a program. This would have an output of opening and setting up the program. A weakness of this afternoon was that I asked to start blogs in which the tutor thought was "a bit cheeky".
The next assignment I have due is today which U24 A1T1.
